BSTAR2006 Grid: Spectral Energy Distributions

Spectral Energy Distributions (SEDs) cover a wavelength range, 5.5 nm to 300 microns, for the full set of frequency points used to calculate the model atmospheres (about 380 000 or 170 000 frequencies at Vt = 2 or 10 km/s, respectively). The SEDS are sampled with an irregular frequency step, depending on the set of atomic transitions included in the model atmospheres. If required, users can readily resample the SEDs at selected resolutions with constant frequency steps.

The tar archive files contain a two-column ASCII file for each model atmosphere:

- Frequency [s-1]

- Eddington Flux Hnu at the stellar surface [erg s-1 cm-2 Hz-1]

SEDs are available for 6 scaled-solar chemical compositions and 2 microturbulent velocities (only low gravity models, log g <= 3.0, at Vt = 10 km/s):
